tweeeeeet Twitter Updates follow follow me! Monday, December 15, 2008 It never occurred to me how commonly people uses lies to deal with their problems. Like a simple white lie to protect somebody or even self-deception to reassure yourself that nothing is out of place. All they have to do is muster up a wee bit of dishonesty and the problem is seemingly gone. But we all know that it's not true. In fact, in my opinion, lying is just like shelving your mess aside to deal with it later. And then, pretentiously yet with a sense of guilt, continue to live life in self-denial. It's like facing up to the truth will be the last resort you'd ever take in order to solve the dilemmas that would have accumulated over the years, soon coming to suffocate you. Yes it's common for people to lie. Mothers lie. Lawyers lie. Businessmen, tour guides and even teachers, they all lie to survive. It had somehow evolved to the stage that it is common practice. Sadly, no matter how much we try to change, the existence of lies is never going to fade. But on a brighter note, here's to mcfly and this cool new blog I've relocated to.
