I've been thinking about everything that happened in my life. Ahaha 17 years of drama. This year was no different, really. But like always there's always new friends to appreciate and eventful moments to add to my album of memories.
Hoh well, was still enjoyable, can't complain. Hopefully this feeling becomes consistent to barricade the stress that's coming in 2009. Sigh, no doubt time waits for no one.

Fantastic day with jeremy today! But f that malay lifeguard man. All these while I go in no problems, and yet today he just doesn't want to let us in. Can't even close one eye. Wtf. Ahah jeremy said he was shaking when he confronted us and threatened to call the police because we climbed in. That aside, yeah today was quite worthwhile.
Gotta start working on homework!

1) Blister from guitar hero pwnage at cheryl's that is downright irritating now.
2) Lost $12.50 from mahjong. -.- the minute I took over my aunt right after I reached/
3) Finally answered one of shenn's calls from portugal and yet the phone just hanged and stayed shut again. Argh, & I just got it back from servicing, what the eff.
4) Woke up damn late and missed swimming and made damien wait for 4 damn hours, LOL okay bad luck on his account. :P
5) Bought 3 tops and 3 bottoms, then in the end lost one of the tops on the way home. How unlucky is that. So vexed that can't even nap in peace on the bus. Even narrow my whole head down the seats to see if the plastic bag slided inside.
6) Missed christmas celebration at ecp with jieting and peeps.
Nahmah, somemore I didn't bloody get to eat dinner. Crap, my mother's gloating 'cos of my lost shirt and how she bought paos back.
NEVER MIND, SUNSHINE AFTER RAIN.
STILL MANAGED TO BUY GOOD CLOTHES, & SAW MINGQI AT BUGIS, WX YD AT CINE.

Another funny one ahaha. It's like everyone went mad (like hooikim, aka pretty funny please), and yes sorry but that was me after I landed first. -.-
& I think this one screams the idea of constipation. Totally.
So in a few hours, would be heading to cheryl's place for the dinner, then to aunt's place. Cool, christmas specials are airing all over the tv network today. Okay christmas might just be a wee bit more boring this year.
Yep on a slightly random note, I think I have sleeping disorder or something. Recently I just find it hard to sleep early. I mean like okay I go to bed at what, 12? But in actual fact I only manage to fall asleep at around 7. IN THE MORNING. Honest.
See the strange thing is during this long period of time, I'm deprived of everything that should keep me bore-free. Like yep no comp, no food, no tv. Okay and maybe a little bit of psp. YES BUT POINT IS I JUST CAN'T SLEEP. Ugh, strikes me bad to the point of irritating. I hope I would kick this habit by the time school reopens.

Yep so me & jieting went on a sudden impromptu decision to watch movies yesterday. Planned on a third but didn't have enough time. See lah jieting, who go swimming? -shakes head.
But yeah yes man was hilarious as everyone said, and twilight is just a little bit cheesy = I don't really like it. Ahaha we should do more of this again. Chinchian owe us because he was really sick. Argh really late but I still haven't watch the day the earth stood still and bolt. How about that. Even quarantine is already off the theaters. -sigh.
Ahaha I remembered saying something about Christmas being too early last year, like it's still a month away and you can see so many deco being put up already. Somehow it's quite the opposite this year, isn't it? Guess all the busy academic rush had fast-forwarded time practicably.
On a slight note, wouldn't it be great to have kids as many as these?

So. I slept like a pig for almost a good 11 hours. Ahaha pig. But worth it!
Okay first up was F3's picnic, which was definitely delectful. There were too much things to eat (seriously), especially mildred mama's tub + extra packet of beehoon. -.- It was so much that we had to resort to gambling to finish off shiqi & chiupeng's birthday cake. Yeah we also had frisbee, fishfeeding and offcourse painfully adjusted picture-taking. Yep overall it was successful and I bet all those that went enjoyed themselves. Thanks mildred & hooikim for organising this!
Went off to meet leon after the picnic. I thought I was dressed too casual for a musical (shorts and slippers) but it didn't turned out to be a very formal thing anyway. Yup pretty enjoyable, but still think the preaching part by the pastor, a little bit over. Maybe the enthusiasm they have was one of the reasons I'd never defect to being a Christian again. Sorry no offence to anyone reading this.
So after that took a bus home, before heading out to meet jieting again. Went over to pengyang's place for a surprise, but his primary school friends got there first before us. But we still managed a surprise anyway because one of the friends helped to open the door for us.
Yup after a short and sweet catching up, jieting and I decided to go look for chinchian. Well no comments for the angle-memory thing she did to remember the area but seriously difficult to contact someone without a phone. Had to resort to knocking on the outside walls and wailing outside windows to finally reach him like after halfanhourplus. We chatted a lot at his void deck, and played a lil' bit of block catching. Then walked to jp to take buses home.

The opposite of love is not hate. Hate is a feeling just as love is. I've always thought of love as a verb not a noun. Love is something you do. Hate is also something you do. It's based in jealousy, resentment, and anger. In a lot of ways, hate cares about what happens to something or someone - even if they want that something or someone to suffer. And sometimes - hate arises from love. I don't think it's Love's opposite though.Well I'm certainly enlightened. I mean, this is something really important to think about. I've always thought that hate is a strong feeling that doesn't carry love.
Indifference is lack of concern. A lack of care - a lack of anything. There is no passion in indifference. There is no feeling in indifference, there is no real thought for something held indifferent.
I think indifference would hurt far more than hate - because in some ways, it implies a virtual non-existence. At least someone who hates you carries 'something' for you. If someone hates you, you have power over them in a way that you could even drive their hate even deeper into them. You could make them hate you even more.
But indifference - that's a whole other story. A person who's indifferent to you won't even register anything you do on their radar. I imagine it would be hard to consciously be indifferent to someone. There's no such thing as a practiced indifference - that would be an oxymoron. Indifference just happens. Indifference (just as love, or hate, or anger, or fear) in some ways is a choice, yes, but its a choice to put something down - to stop feeling one way or the other about it.
Indifference holds no positions pro or con. It feels no affection or anger. It holds no resentments - and it holds no hope. And unlike hate - indifference truly doesn't care what someone thinks. If someone is indifferent to an individual, an issue, or anything for that matter - those things have absolutely no power in the indifferent person's life.
To me - that's the opposite of love . . . .

It's funny really, because of that I've forced myself to not hate anyone because it's not appropriate; because I told myself, despite these feelings I have, I do love that person even if he or she had disgusted or hurted me in any way. So it became like I would correct people that you do not hate someone because hating is wrong. -Shrugs- Guess it's relieving to realise that it's okay to hate, right.....? (rolls eyes)
Ooookay, that aside, work today was again boring. And shenn that loud person has flown off to Spain and won't be back till the 29th. The last conversation we had definitely left me something to think about. sigh. Why does choices has to be such a huge issue in my life?

Anyway, tomorrow's family three's picnic & justin's musical. And maybe something else which I don't think it might still happen. But bottomline is can't wait for the picnic. It's so awesome that family three is still so bounded despite being about 6 months and counting since our last camp. Okay yeah frankly not everyone but the spirit of f3 still burns strongly that we feel the need to still get together for occasions which is of course assuring, yes.
Okay this had been an extremely gay post so I'm going to just continue watching desperate housewives. Okay that's gay too but yeah okay really whatever
& I hope jeremy comes back from the US soon so we can gym on sundays.

4) To be manipulated by puppeteers and narcissists (JUST USING IT AS AN EXPRESSION, REALLY. I KNOW YOU WILL LAUGH WHEN YOU SEE THIS MEL -.-). In the conditions they're in.
5) To be barbecued under a really hot grill and eaten. While they're all still alive and in agony.
Sums up to... SAD LIFE.
I am so regretting eating kuyshinbo just now despite my determination on a diet. Arghhh. And the past two days went on smoothly without food.
Owens stayover was great. Though I only joined the crew close to midnight. Yup but with all the mahjong and crap we had, it was awesome. Thanks lihuan and jocelyn for the planning and jeremy for having it at your place!
+ I hope I didn't regret making friends that I have.

But we all know that it's not true. In fact, in my opinion, lying is just like shelving your mess aside to deal with it later. And then, pretentiously yet with a sense of guilt, continue to live life in self-denial. It's like facing up to the truth will be the last resort you'd ever take in order to solve the dilemmas that would have accumulated over the years, soon coming to suffocate you.
Yes it's common for people to lie. Mothers lie. Lawyers lie. Businessmen, tour guides and even teachers, they all lie to survive. It had somehow evolved to the stage that it is common practice. Sadly, no matter how much we try to change, the existence of lies is never going to fade.
But on a brighter note, here's to mcfly and this cool new blog I've relocated to. Hope things'll get afresh and blogging will always stay healthy.
